I will drop off the conformation of the pyrotechnics operators permit at our rendezvous, that being CGN head-quarters.

Has there been a deal brokered with the assailants?...........Can you confirm the exsistance of a pyrotechnics permit?..........will kwhoppers Talon 2 suffer more paint damage?

No contact has been made via CGN Headquarters.............I fear the worst for kwhopper............I understand he was in deep negotiation with officials from the relevant departments......promises have been made by said officials..........but as yet no sight of actual permit.

I'm sure you will get to like pink kwhopper............its not that bad a colour!

I have been give an assurance that the normal 14 day turn around will be slashed down to 2 days.

Its unbelievable that a government department on level 9 of minerals house which has the task of entering the application on to the data base then send the paper work down to another section of the same building that being level 6 then back to level 9 can take 14 days. Go figure.

These people dont have to do too muck we provide all the documentation and relevant clearances, of which I know they have to check out but come on 14 days

Still I have been given hope that i should be able to pick up my clearance on friday.

kwopper - you could always pay another parcie for a motor and have them load it for you. If it is an RMS motor, you might need to sign reams or legal paper work to ensure that you will replace the RMS case if something goes wrong.

And real men are so tough, they can fly a pink rocket with confedence. that being the case, I am ashamed to admit I am only a pretend man and would laugh my backside off at anyone who attended a launch with a pink rocket.

I was quite surprised, the G10, when it comes down to it, is remarkably brittle. But, to her credit, she didn't even whimper. The drill, however, was much more fun. I believe Homer calls them 'speed holes', so really, you should see an improvement in performance.

I have been watching this thread with interest, and although i am unknown to many in this forum, there are some who know my exisistance and my background. They are aware of my capablities and power.

Trust me Mr Whopper , idle threats have not been made. I have been enlisted to ensure that extreme predjudice will be carried out where necessary.

Has anyone actually seen kwhoppers "alleged" permit.............he "claims" to have possession of some sort of verification.........but as yet no-one has actually "seen" it.

Could this just be a ruse to buy time?...........Is it a pathetic attempt to enlist the sympathy of other PARC members........or at the very least the bold folk who have his Talon 2???

I think it is a veiled attempt to gain noterity! I personally heard a message from the captors..........which left me in no doubt of their intentions.............PINK will feature on kwhoppers Talon 2!

Yes its true, I have my permit.
I cant thank the staff at the DOCEP enough on their fast and efficient work ethic.

I most humbly, eat my own words with regards to the prior posting on this particular government department work ethic and willingness to help the under-dog.

I not only was able to turn up at 12:30pm on Thursday and present my application form, pay $17.50 but they also gave me their direct contact numbers to able me to track the approval process.

Yes folks, extortionists and Scoop ( notice no S ) I was able to get my pyrotechnics operators licence in a record time. From first applying at 12:30pm on Thursday to an unexpected phone call at 7:30am Friday to confirm that all the processing had been completed and that they will fax through a licence and send out a card straight away. Impressive.

It has been brought to my attention at there seems to be certain changes to the new licence of which may make any new applicant happier than the current license holders whom have been issued a lice under the old format. Ill just leave the rest to the curious people.

I have made contact with the extortionists, they have been impressed with the ability or luck call it what you will, on the speed to which I was able to meet their demands. I have been given an undertaking that my Talon 2 will be returned mentally unscaved and physically healthy.

Ps, To Scoop, The 24hr time frame was only a motivational tool to get me off my **** and have my permit for this week end. what was the cost of those 29mm motors around $27.50 each, Ill take 2. Yes floks im a big spender.
