Another WA First for CGN & Tripoli Western Australia

We couldn't have asked for a better end to TWA Rocket Season 2008. Fine weather, good friends, more certifications and WA's first offical K lanuch.

Spartikass

Getting his Tripoli Level 1 Cert was Spartikass with his GLR Talon 2 on a H128J. The first cert on the last day of the first season flown with the first Talon 2 constructed in the country.

It was destined to succeed! Well done comrade Spartikass.

The second first for TWA was the successful Level 2 Certification attempt by MH with his dual deloy Quantum Leap on a J350.

This beautifully finished candy blue and silver bird looks awesome both on the pad and in flight.

There were many flights that day; BP, AP and Hybrids (Thanks PK) but the BSD Thor-X on an Aerotech K1100 was a real treat for the senses. Visually spectacular, audiably prodigious and overall stupendously wonderous. It even landed within 100' of the launch pad! Simply amazing!
