It's that time of the year again trendsetters and this year is once again dripping with drama and drissled with a spattering of controversy.

Nominations got off to an early start with lasts years winner, tipped as the favourite, setting the pace early on in the season with the same dedication to underattendance that got him the unprecidented unanimous decision at the inaugural tally event.

As the votes were counted, it was soon apparent that kwhopper's crown was under threat. The 2nd nominee was gaining ground and it was Fridge that would soon overtake the current champion with his outwardly lacklustre performances with the website, the Launch Controller and his Level 2 rocket.

kwhopper's penchant for tradition and Fridge's barrage of poor excuses kept the lead constantly changing during the course of the count that finally resulted with them in a tied position. This of course made it easier to launch chicken bones at them and kept the onlookers occupied throughout the night.

After consulting the official Award Rules, it was decided by the Award Committee that the soft and gooey brothers of the NGC splitter group would now have to share this years Red Sonja Award and be riduculed as equals over the course of the next seaon.

Sucked in to both of you. You clearly deserve it.
